GenStocks application
GenStocks is a desktop application for Windows and OS X that evaluates approximately 2000 stocks per day by applying a sophisticated neural/genetic algorithm** to real historical market data.

User note: GenStocks is a free download for Mac OS X or Windows. To get real data into the application, one must purchase a monthly subscription to the GenStocks data feed. The application is easy to use; users may consult an extensive user guide, and receive free support.
GenStocks overview
The underlying algorithms can be thought of as collectively providing advanced signal-analysis methodology. Via the neural/genetic approach, distinct patterns in a stock's past performance are quantified as "measures," with a "weight" assigned to each of these measures. GenStocks will then generate a composite "score" for each stock, based on the weighted sum into a specified past. Then genetic evolution is applied to all possible sortings of the 2000-some competing stocks.

GenStocks thus creates a sorted list, on user demand, that shows the most reasonable ranking as regards projection of profit.
